ABOUT THE BOOK

Why learn from your own mistakes when you could learn from the mistakes of others? Together, we as leaders can create a healthier workplace, classroom, team, or church by becoming a better version of ourselves. Bad Bosses is designed to take you on a journey so that you can become a better boss!

Every boss knows that mistakes are inevitable when leading people. Bad bosses repeat the same failures over-and-over again, while good bosses learn from their own mistakes.

However, it's only the best bosses who learn from the mistakes of others.

Bad Bosses examines the leadership mistakes from some of history's worst bosses ever - the kings of Israel. As Jackie walks you through their stories, he'll share practical lessons that will help you grow as a leader.

Whether you are the boss of an organization, church, team, or your own family, Bad Bosses can help!

“North America needs godly leaders. I can think of no better place to learn how to develop the leadership skills we need in this unique moment of history than God’s Word. Jackie Allen’s new book Bad Bosses provides great insights into the strengths and weaknesses of some of the most significant leaders in the Bible. I’m excited to see how God will use leaders in North America as they apply the principles, he describes to impact their communities.”

“This is a book that has been needed for a long time. The world and the church have suffered at the hands of numerous bad bosses over the years. It is time we learn what to look for in a boss, what to avoid as a boss, and how to be the kind of boss God wants us to be—more like Jesus! This is a great, biblical survey of the lessons we can learn to keep from following in the footsteps of the infamous Kings of Israel. I highly recommend it!”
